Cancelling a contract with Orange?
Options
Due to signal issues in my area Orange have agreed to cancel my contract, I am 1 year into a 2 year contract, I have to return my iPhone 3G and they said they will cancel it, all well and good but I don't have the original phone, I sold it and bought an iPhone 3GS, Its an Orange phone but only 6 months old, I don't mind sending this in if I get out of my contract, would lack of the original handset screw this up?

As long as you give them the IMEI of the phone you are returning, so they can note it on their returns SAP system, you should be OK, especially as the 3GS will be of higher value.I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂0
