Juice defender app advice

Hi, I have installed juice defender app on my phone but it seems to keep stop working after a few hours then never starts up again unless I go into the app. All the stats stop and the symbol goes from the top of the screen. Am I doing something wrong or been really thick!

Have you got any Task Killer apps or Battery Defenders that are running in the background?

My Juice Defender is running fine on my LG Optimus One.

No not got anything running. Have already tried removing it an really installing it an its doing same thing.

Thats the sign of some sort of Task Manager closing the app .

Try the developers page .

Can you list your 3rd party Apps and what is your handset?

Its a Samsung Galaxy S2. I dont have any task killers. I had one but I removed it as when I read up on them they didnt seem that good. Only 3rd party apps I have are the usual games, pro sms, pro launcher. I have a battery widget that shows the percentage of battery left but thats about it. Nothing to technical!

If you open up the app and look down the screen go past Profile, Get Even More Juice, Notification you will come to the activity log. That will show you all the events that have occurred.

You will see "Schedule stop" and "Schedule start" events. Now mine seems to kick in every 15 minutes for about a minute then kick off - no doubt to save battery use. This interval is probably related to the Profile that you are using - I am using "Balanced". If you experiment with other settings for a couple of days, you might see a difference.

But it looks like it only runs for a minute every 15 with that setting.

Last activity was at 16.51 yesterday which was when I went into app to get it going again. It starts straight up again as soon as I go into the app, the icon just appeared on top of the screen again now but it will only run for few hours then stop. All log says is device is not rooted and found interface. Its very confusing! (I am on balanced to, have tried the others even aggressive but nothing works.

Mine isn't rooted, so run out of ideas.

You can try to load a different battery saver, though, and see if that is any better. There are a few in the market that might do. Certainly worth a try.

Googling "Juice defender stop working" would indicate you are not alone.
