The number is also on the V5C, New Keeper Supplement. The problem is that the licence will be sent to the registered keeper they have on record at the time, it may still be the seller and not the new keeper.0 -
Ok....update.
After ringing round all of my near by post offices who do the car taxing service , I have been told by them all that they can only tax my car if I have the log book and reminder notice.
Maybe different in Northern Ireland where I am?
I also rung DVLNI who confirmed that the PO staff are actually correct. I have just went into the main DVLA and taxed it without any problem didnt have to bus it as my Dad was at home to drive me in
