Airport lounge advice T3 Manchester

Hi
Anyone any tips on how to gain access to the lounges at T3 in Manchester? My other half and I are travelling on Saturday and he booked the Escape lounge only to discover the only lounges in T3 are Flybe/BMI and BA.
I'm a points member of all of these but not enough for an airport lounge unf. I tried calling Flybe and offering to pay for access to their lounge but no-can-do. I'm going to try the same with BA and BMI, see if I get a result.
Has anyone managed to get access and any tips to give? We just want to chill out before our flight and are happy to pay but we're travelling by Easyjet (package hol so no choice in carrier). Has anyone been able to get access by paying on the day by approaching either of the above carrier's info desks, even though they are not travelling with the airline?

For BA you absolutely cannot pay to enter - their lounges are reserved for premium passengers and status holders.
If you were flying on BA metal there are a couple of possibilities, but sadly you aren't.
I believe it's exactly the same for bmi.Legal team on standby0 -
Amex Platinum charge (not credit) card at £300/yr will get you into a bmi lounge if you are flying with them, but otherwise no - there is no paid access to the lounges at MAN T3.0
