Anybody got a Samsung Galaxy Ace?

Hello everybody,
ever since the Samsung Galaxy S 2 came out, I've been drooling over the thought of getting one, but unfortunately I can't stretch my budget to buy it SIM-free and I don't want to be tied to a 2-year contract (by the end of which there'll probably be a Galaxy S 5 out with a 3D screen, NFC, a telepathic app to control it using your brain waves and it'll be able to cook you dinner!).
Anyway, I saw that they've put out a slightly dumbed-down version called the Galaxy Ace, which I could actually afford, but I'm afraid that there would be too many compromises, mainly regarding the screen and processor. For starters, I know it doesn't support Flash, which is a !!!!!! but not a real deal breaker.
So, anybody out there that has this phone and can give me some advice? Are you happy with it? Does it feel limited, or can you get on fine with it?
Thanks a lot!

My hubby has an ace, I have an HTC desire HD. There is a clear difference in screen quality - mine is on a par with the Galaxy s2 which a friend has, however the ace is still good and clear - its not a mash of pixels and is better than a lot of others in the same price bracket (the htc wildfire being one)
He has had no complaints with his, he can browse the web with ease and its a nice simple interface. Im impressed too !Bow Ties ARE cool "Just because you are offended, doesnt mean you are right" Ricky Gervais0 -
It does cost a lot less than the S2 so it won't be as powerful. The screen is also a bit of a compromise but it is still very useable.
I've had a play with one and was quite impressed. Ended up getting a wildfire s for my OH.
I don't think you will be disappointed if you get one. Do consider the htc as well.0 -
Thanks for your answers! The Wildfire S is also an option I've considered. I guess now it's only a matter of trying them both out side by side... or just flipping a coin! But yeah, I don't think any of them will disappoint me...0

The Ace's Gorilla Glass is pretty amazing too. My son has had an Ace for a few months and it just gets chucked in his bag or pocket with keys etc. The screen is still mark free when it's cleaned.
