I have a question about local paper comps. I don't think there's a definite answer, but some advice would be appreciated.

Last night and a friend and I were talking about going to Vinopolis as part of my birthday celebrations. The today a competition appeared in my local paper to win 10 pairs of tickets for their champagne tour (worth £62 for a pair). Now obviously I really want to win this and have my entry all ready to post. I think with 10 tickets I'd be in with a good chance of winning, but with 2 entries we'd be very unlucky not to win, so I'd like my friend to enter too. However, she lives up north - so definitely not in the local paper area and I don't know if that would count against her?

I came up with various options that might be ways around this but don't know what to do.

1) She enters with her own address (not in local paper area)
2) She enters with my address (there's nothing to say only one entry per person/address but you never know)
3) She enters with my best friend's address (in the local paper area)
4) I enter on her behalf with her own address (so the postmark is local)

What do people think?

Is there anything in the terms and conditions about living in the local area? If not then just get her to enter using her real name and address. There are quite a few people who do get local papers from a difference area sent to them so the papers do get about.

:laugh::laugh: the royal mail parcel man collared us today as we normally miss him, and he said, "aha, now I've seen you but I don't have anything for you" :laugh: . No wins today

She was there visiting frinds.

Can anyone remember the name of the site where there are loads and loads of comps CDs, DVDs & Tickets (I think) listed down the left side, you do a quick register (name / email / click rock pop or urban) and then just click on the comps to enter?
I haven't seen it posted for a while

Also, there was a site with 2 pages - one with a long list of games and one of DVDs and they were all email entry I think. They were monthly comps so there should be new ones for April, and I don't remember seeing it this month.

Acegamez has a good few games but it's in regular comps - only 1 page though
