There was one on yesterday that was Pentax I think, think it was for a digital camera, I dont know whether you woudl call it a game but it was matching pairs of cards. I just kept seeing how higher score I could get!

Edit: Found it HERE, it ends today though

Bit clever that hiding it in a post

What's with those things now on websites?, they're not pop ups but they are pictures that take over the screen and have a tiny little x on them to close it. Seeing more and more of them about, hopefully won't be long until pop up blocker block them too :)

I hate those! Especially the ones where they hide the close button and I have to spend ages trying to find it.
  • Ive just started entering comps & just wondered:

Do you enter comps if they dont have https: or a padlock in the corner of the screen?

Is it still safe to enter your name, address etc if they dont have the secure signs on the page?

Try pressing alt & the F4 button ~ usually closes pop ups.

I enter alot of the ones posted on here and more besides.

I havent ever checked for the https or padlock. To be honest most of the competitions posted on here are from big name sites so wouldnt have thought security woudl be too bad on them, Id never actually given it a thought before you mentioned it!

I've never given it a thought either.
I can't see theres anything to worry about, It's not like you're giving any bank details etc, If people want to bombard you with junk calls, spam, post, (& I don't think entering really leads to a big rise in stuff you don't want) they'll do that anyway,,,,,,,,,,
  • Thanks very much hjb123 & Thrupneybit.

Hopefully I can start winning some competitions now.

I can see you have both had a lot of wins, how long do you spend entering comps each day?

I don't spend a lot of time entering web comps, just one or two which catch my eye. Though I usually have some tiebreaker or other going round in my mind,,,,,,,,, trying to put those ten or so additional words into a catchy slogan
    Be Lucky however ye enter,,,,,,,,
