I do know about it, but we have lots of new compers on the site so it may be worth putting in the link.

Hope you bubba is a bit better. Time of work is always good for catching up on comping. Due to my injury a lot of housework is also very difficult for me just now, as well as being off work.. So sadly I am resigned to sitting on the sofa with the laptop. Tough but true. :D

I'm a newish comper - i'm on my sofa with my laptop, i don't have a sick baby and i'm not injured so feeling a bit guilty that I'm having a lazy day !

Wanted to also ask, although i like doing the easy fill in details, answer question comps, i also like to do more detailed ones - tiebreakers, poems, writing, drawing, designing comps that need more thinking, Loquax does not have many, any ideas

Thnaks for the well wishes. Bubby is still very poorly. Slept about 3 hours out of the last 24 :( Off to bed in a mo as he's finally settled. He's got chicken pox, and they are so irritating him, he just can't settle - even after taking anti-histamine, paracetomol etc. Sorry spelling not good at the moment lol, tiredness.

Thanks for all the links - I haven't bothered to check out loquax much or UK competitions, and now I'm off for some kip :) she says hopefully

    Sleep tight y'all:)

Has anyone ever won anything big, that they wanted to sell, and if so where did you sell it? The reason I'm asking is because I entered some competitions for a huge smeg fridge for my brothers new house. I didn't win, which is lucky because he'd already bought one before the closing dates, but it got me wondering what on earth I'd do if one turned up on my doorstep, my kitchen being far to small to keep it myself?
Amazon is fine for some things, but what about really big or really expensive stuff? Has anyone been that lucky?
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

I'd worry about that when it happens. It certainly doesn't stop me from entering any comp.
