Food delivery squashed!!!

Hi there, can anyone point me into the right direction. Ive ordered some sausages and they arrived via courier. They are extremely squashed and iam not happy at all. I paid via paypal. The company are saying there isnt anything thay can do other than try to claim from the courier and this they say is unlikely to be successful.

What are my rights here?

Thanks

Just pop them in the frying pan and eat it, they will be squashed once you start eating them anyway.

Wash your hands, select a sausage, squeeze it into a more acceptable shape, wash hands, cook sausages. HTH :)

This has to be by far the worst windup thread ever. Atleast put some thought into it.

Why would someone order just sausages, unless they were ordering a lot of them it doesnt make sense to order a pack of sausages - They would have to be sent in a chilled van so delivery for these sausages will be expensive - It doesnt really make any sense it just sounds like a big wind up. I dont know why people posts making stuff up it just stops people who actually need help being seen.

Last week I ordered a bag of frozen fees from PC world which arrived defrosted and PC world refused to replace them, if you think your hard done by op with your sausages, make sure you don't order your groceries from the same place as I.

Oh I don't know. There's a firm that sells really gorgeous pork pies (bought some at the Great Yorkshire Show). They're not anything like the crap that you get in the supermarket. These cost £12 for 6. Not sure how much delivery is but I was tempted for a while to order some.

Edit - I do think the thread is a windup though as sausages can be easily unsquashed!
There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.

I image companies like this hold delivery regions whereby they are sent in specialist refridgerated vehicles. In the same way companies like 'milk & more' work.... although I could be wrong.............

The one I mentioned sends it in an insulated box with ice, with the item vacuum packed. I've just found the site again and it's £10 for delivery!

I'll give the pies a miss.. but they do look and taste delicious. :(

Are the sausages just slightly flat and misshapen? Or are they bursting from their skins? How were they packaged? Can you take a photo? :D
