I got it from a friend of a friend. I am on it now but not got the battery in it but i think i get over 6 hours hours on battery but i have the settings down to low. I get the battery in it once a month and just stored it at 40% as that supposed to keeps the battery good.
I dont use it much as i have the Dell laptop, am only going to use when i am in India travelling.
Its not slow slow but enough for me to say to myself " for gods sake come on " not slow enough to throw it at the wall ! Yet

I think yours must be a 6 cell battery and mine a 3 cell. My netbook uses the power efficient Intel Atom N450 processor.
You didn't say if you had carried out Closed's instructions. If not, I suggest you start with no.1 and take up Russ' offer to check the results here.
