Always make me chortle when people say about the pressure in the hold and the freezing temperatures! But consider where they put animals on planes, and you dont hear about them freezing to death or going POP!!!
I have been on two flights recently where folk have had dogs in the cabin. The first time was freaky because I was looking at the floor across the aisle at the womans feet (not that I am kinky) and I could see what looked like a standard piece of soft luggage moving around of it's own accord like a dysfunctional jelly. :)

Just to add that I regularly travel to Denmark and take my beer with me (Ryanair, in the hold), so can vouch that the only problem you are likely to have is a breakage if you were to take bottles - As you aren't then no problem

I hope you aren't taking Carlsberg to Denmark. That would be almost as bad as coals to Newcastle.

I can't remember ever taking alcohol out of the country with in checked luggage me but I often bring it back.
