To sum up . if you like golf , spend money .

But if not sure , who is , when starting out , keep your money in your pocket .

Bufger shame you did not mange to meet like minded beginners , I was very lucky . Also the golf course has a Par 3 club , turn up on a Tues morning , cheap round , get introduced to others ......... and they even give you a coffee.

How old is your son? You can get very decent half sets for younger children very easily in places like Sports Direct. Or ask at the local range. Not worth spending £200 on something they WILL grow out of in a year or so. Or alternatively have grown bored of.

Brand new youths sets should be available in the large golf shops for around £60 - £120. Seriously not worth paying more for the reasons above. Better off with the extra being spent on golf shoes.

  • You've made the decision for the first time and have reserved your first golf session at the regional generating variety. Before your first session the most essential thing to do is buy a appropriate set of golf clubs; a tennis set is the most cost-effective inclusion to your installation at the starting of your tennis profession instead of buying groups independently and a tennis bag to shop and transportation the groups to and from the golf club or generating variety.
