Our bills budget takes account of the fact thet we pay CT and Water rates over 10 months, we know it will get taken up in TV licence or Contents Insurance at some point in the year. I just find it easier adding up all the bills and dividing by 12 and transfering that to the bills account.

We've had to do this two this year, otherwise it's too confusing for the DMP

But it'll sit in a separate account and gain interest and be filtered in each month

Ours is going straight off a debt - £202 a month so will be a nice amount to overpay!

I'm intending to put mine towards my credit card, i've fallen off the wagon of late and am back on with vengance. May keep Feb's in reserve though as i'm changing jobs and will get two payslips at end of Jan and i'm not sure how it's going to work out.
