Woo Hoo - Roll on February!!

Hi guys
Just wanted to give some of you a little something nice to look forward to........not having to pay council tax in February & March. :j

So what is everyone going to spend theirs on?

I have ours ear-marked for car-tax (buy for whole year to save money), and the rest will go onto credit card. Not very exciting, but it's approx. £260 that we wouldn't have otherwise, and another step closer to being debt free!!!!! :T
What's he building in there???
Debt at highest £30,450 (Dec 05)
Debt at lowest £9, 113 (Jul 07)
How much did we over spend whilst on maternity leave

Hmm....let me think...... A designer handbag? A new haircut? A weekend away in a hotel for me and hubby? No, you're right, it will probably be the car tax!

Car tax for me too, even though it's not due until May. I'll just have to remember where I stash the cash! The rest will be spent on a night out with the family. Actually got flights and accommodation to pay for so the car tax may have to get paid from other money!

£50 of it will go towards new oil & filter, air filter, brake pads, and spark plugs.

The rest will be put into the savings account.
  • 2 months water & council tax payments will cover the shortfall in my gas & electricity account :(

OO I had forgotten about the 2 "free" months too.

Mine will be going straight into my savings account for my holiday/pay off mortgage quicker fund. I will transfer it straight in there rather than to the council. I wont miss it then!
