no idea why
i have been paying all this time by DD

they owe me £140
so the confusion
why have they rescinded all previous bills
and how have they worked out what i have used?

  • 4years of estimated bills? theres a legal requirement to have the meter read every 2 years as a minimum , so in the last 5 you should have had it read at least twice....

    oh and who`syour supplier?

why is there a hug gap from 28/08/08 to 25/03/10

umm also further down this bill is a lsit of 3 dual fuel savings not the 5 i would expect

First of all whenever something like this happens you need to "set a trap" for the supplier. In this case "the trap" is simply to ask NPower why. Don't (initally) contest what you are told, but make careful note of who informed you and when, then digest the reason.

It would also help you get a more meaningful Forum response if you posted "the reason".

    Good morning missprice,

I've looked through your query and I too am slightly baffled as to why you have received a five year bill.

If you could send me your account details through forumresponse@npower.com, I will personally look into this for you.

    Thanks

    Sally :)

    got through

they owe me one dual fuel discount for 2006/2007 and the next one due net jan
    so thats ok

    as for the new biill

    they say

i have always had a metric meter but they have charged me imperial for these years
it was only in July this year that they noticed
as for meter readings he fudged around
cos i pointed out that the readings are valid if my meter not changed

he can see the readings on his screen (so they do exist)
and never mind missprice at least you are better off

the big lump from28/08/08 to 25/03/10 means they never changed prices in that time

Hey ho. In that case almost certainly the provisions of the Billing Code apply. Respond to the NPower board monitor as invited and prepare to be "delighted".

I also suggest you seek a "distress and inconvenience" payment, if necessary via the complaints process.

The email address is *exactly* as the link. It's nothing special.
