Ok, as I am at home full time now - a little update.....

Firstly, I am quite surprised at some emails I got via my ad on Gumtree, some really decent (and some very and I mean VERY weird) people out there :)

Secondly - started shouting at Zara which seems to work.

    And I mean - shouting.

A the moment I can go down to the garden to let the cats out/pick them up and she is quiet.

I can also go to my neighbour upstairs and have a coffee without Zara keeping everyone in 2 mile radius on their toes.

Have not tried goint out out as such yet but could not go down/up before so this is fantastic.

As I leave - I tell her "bed", ignore those "why mum?" puppy eyes, she steps out of bed, shout at her "bed NOW and quiet" and she does as told. When I come back she comes to the door, I tell her again "bed NOW" and only after she does that - she gets a cuddle and "good gilr".

    Fingers crossed so far.

She is a very intelligent dog, as GS are and so far she has learnt that she can do what she wants and mum loves her 200% but I guess as she has NEVER been shouted at - this is a bit of a shock to her. BUT - if this works it works?

    Uffffffff

Just picked up Chloe from a tree - she has been gone 2 days now but after her 5 days dissapearanace I do not worry any more when she dissapears. She knows where she lives and comes back....

Before that - neighbour from downstairs shouted from the garden that one of my cats is trying to move in with her - of course Teddy tried to sneak in through her open window... But 12lb of a cat - difficult to "sneak in" LOL

George is still out in the garden, this one would only come home to eat - if allowed.

Fred only ever goes out as far as 2 steps up or down from the flat - he hates to be outside this cat.. weirdo LOL

So peace and quiet for the moment in my place - very empty though as daughter and her b/f moved out 2 weeks ago... Hmmmmm

I guess I am that weird old lady with 4 cats and a dog officially now :D
