Log Cabin Retreats

Has anyone gone to any log Cabin Retreats in the UK?

I picked up a leaflet the other day and some offer things like go-ape adventures / outdoor hot tubs etc.

Anyone recommend any and where? I'm thinking of going in November with my other half. I don't really want to spend too much but could be swayed if the location is good etc.

Thanks,

Check the Go Ape is open in November we are in North Wales and have a decent go ape here in Dolgellau (Coed-y-brenin) closes october 30th. There is a high wire adventure in Llanberis (not as good )The week before oct 22nd /29th is a kids holiday too. Let us know what you find good luck

Can't vouch for them.... (I love locally so never stopped there!!).....in the grounds of a public house set in the countryside.

Near to Alton Towers (unlikely to be open in November unless you are going at the beginning of the month).

Good walking country if that's what floats your boat:)

Have stayed at Anglesey Lakeside lodges at the end of october 2 years ago - booked it through hoeseasons very cosy, the lodges there have hot tubs and they are around a fishing lake - some very big fish in there - very peaceful but you do need a car to get out and about but would highly recommend them! :j
