Orange iphone 3GS £299.99 PAYG

Orange Retail Stores are now selling the iphone 3GS for £299.99 on PAYG....
Any thoughts on this price??
Avoid. The 4 may be more money but it's a better buy for the longer term.
The 3GS is an older generation and was already 12 months old when the Iphone 4 came out. It's not about 26 months old.
Iphone 5 is out soon (september allegedly), as is iOS 5, Chances are iPhone 4 will become the entry level phone and the 3GS be discontinued.
It will still work fine but this looks like Orange is starting clearing stocks ready for the Iphone 5, and the fact iPhone 4 becomes entry level.0 -

I agree it does look like Orange are trying to clear the old stock of iphone 3GS, although i did think the price was good, but when you mention about the handset now being 24+ months old it does make you think twice.0 -
Id agree with the others sounds like a clearout similar to what O2 are doing with there cheap offers on 3gs and 3gs refurbs.0
