GPS for Ipaq

I've got TomTom on an iPaq which makes it much more versatile and less bulky. Had the receiver hard-wired into the car so it's hidden away and my friendly local shop adapted a TomTom metal cradle (complete with hard-wired charging system) so it too is fixed to the dashboard. It's just a case now of slotting in the iPaq and switching on and going.
I understand from friends that the TomTom stand alone unit can't do advanced planning
but that may just be certain models. 0 -

Standalone TomToms can do the advanced planning and everything that the Navigator can do.Says James, in my opinion, there's nothing in this world
