Hi,
Basically when i tried printing something out everything appears faded, like the toner is running out. I have already checked if its in toner saver mode, which it is not!
I have just refilled it with some toner powder, i did this about 5 months ago before! I gave the toner a shake before i put it back in the printer but when i tried reprinting the text still looks faded!
What else can I do?
Thanks in adv

As i really need my printer over this weekend I have ordered a new toner.
Does anyone know why it has lasted for such a short period of time??? I have only refilled it once before.
Does it have something to do with the fact that this is the toner that came with the printer and was only supplied half full as standard???
I am miffed!"He's a maniac, maniac that's for sure,

The supplied cartridge is only half filled, but if you fill it up yourself it should last for another 3,000 printed pages."Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect." - Mark Twain0

So you can only fill it once more...after that it needs to be chucked?"He's a maniac, maniac that's for sure,

No, you can keep on doing it. I think the rollers have a life of 50,000 pages so in theory you can do it 50/3 = 16 or so times."Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect." - Mark Twain0

I've had pale printing on a Samsung printer after refilling with toner. I found that this happened after about 3 fillings, so maybe you have just been unlucky with a particular cartridge.0

Can i ask, as i have bought a remanufactured toner, can this also be refilled?"He's a maniac, maniac that's for sure,

Why not ask the toner supplier?
They will have more experience of these than anyone.
Great little printer - and so cheap to run on refills!
Good luck0
