    I get cheap white rice from Asda or Tesco and cook that before putting it out.

    hi, I found this new website at the weekend called gardenwildlifedirect.co.uk. Might be worth a look as they seem to do better quality products the birds like at reasonable prices.


    Actually I recommend them too, just got 25 kg of good quality suet pellets delivered for £26. That will last me about 3 months. They do put their prices up in autumn though so stock up before them.

    And no, I don't work for them!

    I buy all my bird food from GuerrillaMarketing.com.

    They pay me £100 for every 25kg delivered & the birds simply love it !

    I can't do the math but 28kg lasts approx' 68 days, which means there is either 3864 birds in my garden at any one time . . . or 36 birds are eating 2kg of food per hour.

    Bargain or what?
