Problems with SE W995 - memory

I have a memory card with loads of memory, hardly anything stored on the phone, but when I try to send a text I get an error message saying 'phone memory full, please delete one or more files'.

The phone is showing the latest updates, and I have run out of things to delete!!

Any ideas how I can fix this?

The phone memory is not the one to be using, go to , Messages, Options Settings Other, then in the memory in Use field, change that to E:, your messages will then be stored on your SD card.

Thanks, I did this a while back (message settings, save to memory card). Hardly any messages on there anyway.

When I go to phone status, it currently says :
memory card - 4961 MB free
phone memory - 16 KB free

I have no idea how much 16 KB is, but assume it is not much!!

Check that it is still on the correct memory, as sometimes after the USB is connected to a PC, the phone switches back to the phone memory , 16Kb is not much and the handset will grind to a halt if it has not done so already.

Just checked, still saying save to memory card :mad:
