Hi,
My Natwest Graduate account is coming to an end and I have £1850 OD in there of which £850 will be subject to interest in the year following October 2011 so I'm weighing up my options:
1. Balance transfer the whole OD to a relevant Credit Card, one that allows you to balance transfer from a Bank account as discussed in the Super Balance Transfer article on this site (sorry, could not post a link as I am a 'new user', booooo)
2. Same as #1 but balance transfer only £850 to a credit card as the 1st £1000 in the account is interest free for the first year - I thought of this as I'm not sure on my credit score and not that clued up on credit cards so if I cant borrow the full amount I could at least alleviate interest on the £850...???
3. If I cant get a credit card at all due to my credit score just pay off the £850 a.s.a.p so that I'm left with the £1000 interest free.
So this is what I've gathered from the various other posts/articles on the site, would be grateful for your opinions and/or other ideas as to how I can avoid racking up interest on this little chestnut.
Thanks
