My apologies. I misread what you put and interpreted it wrongly.
Mea culpa.

Just finished college, working part time with credit defaults, it is no surprise you are being declined for a credit card. Get a full time job then apply to Capital 1."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

If you are working at DSG then they have to pay you minimum wage they cannot have contracts that stop this.0

Get a full time Job, umm no thanks. I'm going to uni & will work for my degree. Nothing on my credit file is ADVERSE & i'm still young. Once I keep this account up with payments and don't go overdrawn with any of my banks then I should be fine. 3months and everything should be fixed. I have only paid 1 bill late, I have had the contract 2 months...getmore4less wrote: »If you are working at DSG then they have to pay you minimum wage they cannot have contracts that stop this.
I know my contract & agreed to everything on it before I signed. I was working nowhere near min wage, I was way above it.
I'm not being rude or anything, but how can you tell me what my company and contract states?Banks: Barclays & Natwest - Overdraft: £10 :embarasse

I only have 1 overdraft, £10 with Barclays...I have missed a couple payments with my mobile phone company & have been overdrawn by a couple quid with some of the accounts. When I applied for credit i'm getting referred then in most cases declined. Experian rep told me that my credit file has nothing adverse but it seems im in deep sh*t when I can even get a £500 credit card. Im sick and tired of being declined for credit EVERYWHERE!!! Maybe its because I turned 18 in may 2011?
Do you think I should consider credit repair programs? Or am I just being really silly?Get a full time Job, umm no thanks. I'm going to uni & will work for my degree. I will also sugest that you do not apply for a credit card. You have to many serches registerd against your name and any more applications will count more negativley against you.
Sign up for your experian file and diarise it for 25 days on your fancy phone to cancell without delay. It will then be a free service. you may be surprised what you find on your file and it gives you the opportunity to tidy your payment record if necessary. In 6 months, do the same again with different credit reference co(only get one chance), check your file and repeat the process.
After this little exercise you will know what is on your credit file and can probably apply successfully for a Capital1 or Vanquis with a small limit.
I needed to do this 2 years ao and it was the best advice I found on MSE.
Best of luck.Return and Restart August 2016

You should've pushed on the staff discount at O2! They are definitely still offering it on the iPhone 4... I work for PCW and I'm getting it on my contract. It's about talking to the right people. So next time, just push harder!0
