Orange Contract Query
Hi
I recently upgraded my phone with Orange after the expiry of my initial 2 year contract. I have just had a major argument with customer services over data charges and one thing that came up during the conversation was that they had not issued me with a new contract or a copy of their terms and conditions.
Their representative said they didn't have to issue a new contract and that it was my responsibility to check their terms and conditions on their website.
Does anyone know if this is correct? If that is the case, what about people who do not have internet access? If they should have issued me with a new contract, does their failure to do so mean I can return the phone and ask for the contract to be cancelled?
Any advice would be really appreciated.
Thanks

There is no cooling-off period on upgrades, because it is not a new contract.
Your original contract did not expire, it became a 30 day rolling contract upon the expiry of it's minimum term.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
In other words no you can't get out of it, you agreed to the T&Cs by using the phone0
