Barclaycard payment - payment taken from bank account, not reflected on B'card OLB

Although direct debit payments take a few days to reflect on credit card online bankings they are always backdated so you won't be charged. Not a chance. Unless they've messed up directing the payment to your Barclaycard account... Oh wait, in which case they'll refund it anyway

My very first payment (July) was by debit card, second payment (this month) is by DD.

Even though the DD was set up back then, my first payment was by debit card, as I'm worried the DD won't work....

Dont worry, my DD in full was due Sunday 7th, weird date I know, payment due today, next bill generated tonight. As expected funds left Barclays late Friday Night, nothing shown on my BC account online. I expect late tonight everything to be shown ok and a statement for next month will be ready.

Ah looked at my Barclaycard account, no new statement yet will appear in the next hour but my DD has cleared and showing. Only problem with this DD is BC appear to be taking my payment earlier and earlier each month now.

oh has a post office c/c ,i paid the full amount at our bank the money left the account on the 28th july it wont come off the balance untill august 14th [17 days later !!!!]

Checked my BC online banking today, and the payment has cleared. Statement due date is now showing, and no statement amount yet.

Same here, paying by DD must delay the Statement being created, I guess still going through at there end. Not paying DD you always get the statement the next day after the due date.
