Well done thatGuy1 for finally getting your valiant efforts to save us all a few quid recognised by MSE in the weekly e-mail. It's appreciated !!!0

Well done to thatguy1, but Morrisons have been increasing their prices over the weeks so they can offer this 50%, probably only worth between 5 & 10% in reality.
Watch for their shelf priceings all items not always marked, shopper lulled into assuming incorrect price. Don't forget they are all after our money.0 -
Eddie, I'd tend to disagree.
I've been watching the websites of both Asda and Tesco over the last few months (making the most of dtd/jtd and apg 10%) and the before prices on Morrrison's website show very little difference from the other two, maybe the odd penny but that's it.
As far as the list I made today is concerned, Morrison's deals are half the price of T or A. Maybe you are just noticing the general upward trend of food that everyone has been complaining about - it's happening everywhere!
It's only a game

I did an ASDA shop on Monday buying mainly things from the list here, plus a couple of fillers.
I spent £37.28 and got an ASDA Price Guarantee coupon for £11.35.
In summary, ASDA Price = £37.28
Morrisons price = £28.81 (which ASDA guaranteed to beat by 10%, ie £25.93)
Should have been better but ASDA had Morrisons price for diet coke 8 packs as 2 for £6, and Dairylea at around £1 at Morrisons. On checking, ASDA only collect Morrisons prices instore twice a week (Monday and Wednesday) so maybe I would have done better if I'd waited a day before doing my shop.
If you try this, make sure you qualify for the ASDA Price Guarantee - "your shop must contain at least 8 different items".0 -
Thanks OP, great list! You are 48% tight
