Alternative to moaning about this site....

Options
.....I feel the need to praise it. And the people on it.

I'm stressed to hell right now. Has been going on for a while, the regulars will know what the crack is as Lord knows I moan enough. :o

A lot of people here don't like when personal stuff is posted, they're quick to condem the person posting the personal stuff as foolish.

I don't think I agree. I'm bad for doing that very thing. This place has been such a support to me over the years, the people on it have, in the main, been happy to listen to my drivel and offer a reply in support.

I do realise the site is primarily for financial related matters but having this place to come to and people to talk to, has been a lifeline for me at times, pathetic as that may sound.

I'd love to have a full life with many interests and a good support network, but I just don't, and sometimes the people here are 'it' for me.

I may not have internet access for a while after tomorrow so I wanted to say thanks to Martin for providing the site and the info which has helped shape my money savvy thoughts and also to the site members who continue to offer support even although they must have heard it all before. :o

I'm always happy to condemn if I think things are not just or fair, so I thought it only right to offer credit too. I know MSE gets a hard time sometimes, criticism abounds often. It must be hard for Martin and the team to read at times.

So guys, I wanted to redress the balance somewhat. Thanks for existing. Thanks for providing a place where people like me can educate themselves on all things financial and thanks for allowing me to release pressure and be supported even when I had no way of doing that in real life.

Ok, feel free to go throw up now. :rotfl:

So I'm quoting this post as well, so you can't sneak in and edit in the cold light of sobriety.
