Going from expired 3 contract to new 3 contract via buymobilephones -- how?

My 18month 3 mobile contract expired months ago but couldn't be bothered trying to upgrade or leave as I was waiting on a desire HD coming down to a decent monthly price. My old phone got pinched the other night so I got it blocked and I guess its time to get a new phone.

Currently my 3 contract has gone onto a rolling month to month contract on the same deal. On the 3 website the desire hd is still £30 to £35 a month but on buymobilephones I can get it for £22 with 500 cross-network mins + 5000 texts + 1GB Mobile Internet which is more than enough for me and around what I was paying with 3 anyway.

The question is how do I switch to deal on buymobilephones and cancel my current rolling contract but keep the same number. I really dont want to try and go through the 3 call centres and try to get an answer to this question as I bet they wont offer me anywhere near as good a deal and I don't trust those Indians as Iv herd of several people being offered good deals but when the deal comes through the door its not what they said on the phone and its hard to get out of it. At least on buymobilephones I will get what is offered.
