the cat flap that i bought to replace the broken one, and measured carefully against the old one to make sure it would fit, wont fit! i now need to jury rig some kindof makeshift cat flap to stop the door getting soaked as otherwise the polysterene and chipboard inside the door thats now exposed will get all manky
thinking short length of dowling on the outside of the door, and some tarpalin jury rigged to make a curtain and gaffer tape all round the inner bits of the exposde door? think that will work or am i buying a new door with a ready made built in cat flat ???????0 -

Hi all
LW - yes it was important to me that his TV went to someone who'd appreciate and use it. It was the only thing he had left in the house when him and his ex split up in 2005, we met in 2007 and were together almost 3 years, living together for 2.
Was so tired last night but managed some flying.
Today I focused on the bedrooms, sadly putting my blackberry phone through the wash (got mixed up in the duvet cover). It's currently in a tub of rice to draw out the moisture although I'm still getting the red light of (hopefully not) death.
Need a kick up the bum to scrape the remainder of the wallpaper off the kitchen wall and then need to look through my tesco vouchers and exchange them for topps tile vouchers.
From reading others on the thread I'm obv not the only one who is very tired at the moment, had to have an afternoon nap!
Take care x0 -
Forgot to say well done JoJo - it's nice to hear of someone winning a competition, enjoy spending your vouchers.0

Try taking it apart (not totally, just back off, battery & sim card out) and putting the hair dryer on it, then in the airing cupboard. I did the same with a normal mobile and was told it would die. However a month later, having bought a new one, I found the old one in the airing cupboard, turned it on and it worked perfectly!!
Jojo - fab news on your win. Could you string up a hammock in your back garden?!
*wonders how long it would take to drive to MK and suss out the farmers*
Possible idea for a girl's day/night out?:D

Baby vests, sleepsuits and bibs all soaking in toxic substances due to Squeak staining.. Her current stuff is going in next for the same reasons!
Dinner done and OH and Squeak fed..
I am hoping she goes to bed early given she only had a half hour nap this afternoon.. she is minxing about which is annoying OH.. best thing was he put her in the cage and she escaped about 5 minutes later as the gate was not shut.. lol.. I got the blame of course.. but it was very funny.
Washing out on line, dry stuff all nice and folded.. I now have too little laundry to make up a wash load
I want to get DD2s 2nd curtain sewn tonight and get them up seeing as her blind is down.. and OH will be nagged to do the blind tomorrow. the bookcase made it from the hallway to the middle room but hasnt been constructed yet due to a certain little helper not being very helpful lol
I am going to put the draught tape on the back door in a bit I think.. if I can reach..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Thanks BB but I don't have an airing cupboard :-( I did blast it with the hairdryer when I found it inside the duvet cover and tbh water wasn't pouring out of it, but water is water. I'm hoping that the rice will do the trick as to get out of my contract is 132.99 or 149.99 for a new pay as you go phone (sadly I need bbm) and have it unlocked to put my sim in it.0 -

You'll need to check your sim and bb separately as sims don't like water much... I'm not sure admitting to needing bbm right now is something you should do in public0
