Do you mean 15w40 ? which is a v good price but if it is the 5w40 then it is fully synthetic and an uber bargain

i never said it was useless just not a bargain if your car is newer and needs a certain grade of oil like my PD engine,and in that case is not a bargain because it would wreck the cam lobes and PD units.

i missed the older cars bit in original post apologies.
