What do you mean by this? I would have said it was the opposite... with A levels you get as many chances as you need to resit modules, where-as on my degree, even if you miss a single piece of work, you fail the entire module! Hence I'm not even bothering to revise for one of my modules for this reason. I'm gonna concentrate on my English, and screw the extra module (which I abhor and intend to drop anyway).
I'm in my first term and thus far I'm doing okay... haven't had a first for anything yet though, which I'm a little annoyed aboutI really do believe that us English Literature students have the biggest reading list of all subjects! And considering that I hate reading, it's even worse... Sometimes I wonder why I'm even doing English literature

That is true that you only get one go. As long as you are passing your modules then that is good. Really the level you get is like getting some gold on top.:beer:0 -
