jannyannie sorry to hear that your Aunt has turned on everyone.
In my opinion carers should not be allowed to receive any monies or goods and it should be written into their contract; if they do, it should be classed as gross misconduct  and they should be sacked.

    Have good days all x
I'm surprised if it isnt tbh. I have worked in retail and been unable to accept xmas gifts/tips or promo items.

    Afternoon All,

Just back from Yorkshire. Had a lovely lunch of roast pork and ham with new potatoes and salad and everyone enjoyed the lemon cupcakes. Untied beat City as well so all is good in the world:D
Came back with half a french stick and some slices of gammon, a pot of lemon curd and a book mum thinks I will enjoy. I never come away empty handed.
My mum was an angel in a past life I think:A

Still raining on and off so no washing today but I will have to wash tomorrow whatever the weather.

Just getting ready for our usual evening walk and then hoping for a quiet evening in my pj's and in front of the telly and maybe a crossword if I am feeling really energetic. My dad insisted I looked much slimmer so hopefully the walking is paying off:j

Ooohh. I'm hungry. Lovely smell of chicken roasting with tarragon. Not ready until 1930 though. Grrr.

Quite good day today - sat for a couple of hours while DH tried out some dive kit. Started working through the huge pile of magazines that need sorting. Have stripped about 1/2 of all useful info before recycling. Next week is planned. Just need to empty WM and clear some weekend clutter before dinner.

Just finished dinner, lunches for tomorrow are made, washing up is done and we're watching food network.

We had the biggest thunder storm ever earlier! I've never seen rain so hard in my life!

Need to take some lamb out the freezer for OH's dinner tomorrow, I'm going to have some meatballs. I'm going to help my dad fix a fence panel at his place tomorrow evening.

    Evening all

Hope everyone has had a good weekend. Mine has been really hectic but in a good way. Was DD2's birthday on thursday so was out, went to a evening wedding reception on friday, which was brilliant - danced all night and had really sore feet the next day and went out with a pal last evening. Today been catching up in the garden and watching the rugby (yay - my team won, but only just - next step Wembley!!!) Back to work tomorrow but got another busy weekend due next week. August is a really busy month for me regarding birthdays and have another wedding coming up at the bank holiday!

(((Hugs))) for anyone who need them, enjoy the rest of your evenings
