    Morning All,

JackieG beautiful pics and poem, glad the wedding went well, your sister is beautiful:) I love a good wedding

Made 3 dozen lemon cupcakes yesterday so 2 dozen have already gone and the last lot will go to my DM and DD who we are visiting over in Yorkshire today.
Its very wet here so hope it will dry up a bit for the journey.
Went to my DSS last night and had a curry which was very nice. DH had 2 much to drink and kept me up all night snoring as he always does when he has had a drink. I drove and was totally sober:A

DD has introduced me to a new app called Words with Friends, just like scrabble and you play either against people you know or random people. You can have upto 20 games going at once and I confess I am an addict.

Off to watch something for the weekend. Happy Sunday All x

  • Morning,,,(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))))))))))) if you need one.

Its a lousy morning, it started raining at lunchtime yesterday and is still raining this morning, I guess there will be some floods.

Please can I have a link to the facebook page. A PM will be fine, I love a good wedding. Not had one for ages.

DGD announced recently that she is getting married in Mexico next year....great...for her, shame for the rest of the family who cannot afford a junket to a 4 star hotel plus airfares. Mind you its typical she can be a selfish little madam and does not think about anyone esle. Her mother is not too pleased either. Rant over.

Not much going on here, no gardening its raining and I do not feel like doing much else, am getting over a fibro flare up which floored me recently, still rather achy and tired.

Redruby - he must really like this toy, normally they're pulled apart within a few hours, this is the first one thats survived a night in the house with him!

OH is working away again next week - which i didn't realise, as we're down to 1 car at the moment it means pup is home alone all day as i can't get home to see him, BIL pops in i think but i don't trust him to actually do anything with pup. So will need to get up early tomorrow and take him for a long walk. Hopefully i can take him to the office on tuesday, and OH can take him a few days.

Off to Mr T for a mega shop in a mo, just have to wake DH cos he parked his van across the driveway and I need to get my car out! I would do it myself except he drives manual and I only do automatic!
More tidying and sewing to do today, and I promised DS1 I'd watch a horror movie with him today - but only in daylight, i'm such a coward.
Esm - I was a WOW addict once and missed out on time with my family for the best part of 18 months, I really regret it now, that game is a curse. I hope your DH gives it up asap - totally sympathy for you!
Hugs to all - have a great day xx

    Morning all,

Back from holiday and just peeping out from beneath the piles of washing to say hello.

Holiday was lovely and the weather was gorgeous am feeling all relaxed which is good because the electricity failed while we were away and the freezer defrosted.:(
Hope that I can claim for the food on the insurance.
My lovely friend who was looking after the house while we were away did all the cleaning up so at least I haven't got that to face.:)

Hope that you are all well and I will catch up with the thread once the washing pile has diminished.

Dry here at the moment so I have risked putting out a load of washing.
DD and her BF were doggy sitting at SIL's last night so peace reigns in our house at the moment :D even DH comented last night that his little angel smiley-devil01.gif is getting too big for her bootees.

jannyannie sorry to hear that your Aunt has turned on everyone.
In my opinion carers should not be allowed to receive any monies or goods and it should be written into their contract; if they do, it should be classed as gross misconduct  and they should be sacked.

JackieG...... I hope you find your phone x

Not much planned for today so I might ask DH to take me over to B&M later.

Lou... I hope that you are keeping ok and that you post soon x

(((((((((Hugs)))))))) to all who need one

    Have good days all x
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

    Morning all
I'm late getting on here this morning, hubby bought me a cuppa in bed so I didn't get up til 7:30. I have washing on the line & the DW has been on, unloaded & reloaded.
JG, beautiful pics & a lovely reading.
DD2 came over last night & I gave her salad from the garden & a cooked chicken, DD1 is coming over later to collect some veg, we can't eat it all before we go & I'm only cooking breakfast while we're away, the rest will be takeaways or eating out. I have a chicken cooked for DD1 and a gooseberry crumble.
Hubby is snoozing on the sofa, we are neither of us sleeping too well at the moment, what with the humidity & various family issues, still, 'this to will pass'.
    Have a good day everyone.
    Hugs Hester

    Hello x
In anticipation of our holiday tomorrow the dogs have gone to stay with my parents and I feel absolutely lost without them. Still they will have a fabulous time and come back as black dogs not white:eek::eek::eek:

Im pottering again and think that maybe meds are starting to kick in now just a little. Im doing the bare minimum and that includes the packing so Kids Dad will help me this afternoon.

Jannyannie - I thought that carers were not allowed to receive money from clients and its very dodgy if they are. They should declare that they have been offered it so it can be dealt with appropriately!

Hester - hope you enjoy your holidays and come back feeling more relaxed x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

I've just had a wander round our local streets & I found a table with cooking apples, I bought a bag of apples & the lady of the house came out & gave me a huge corgette for free. We'll have the corgette with chicken for tea & I'm just going to make a couple of jars of Weezle's apple curd with the apples.
Thanks Molly, I hope you have a good holiday too.
    Hugs Hester
