The enhanced disclosure doesn't automatically disclose all 'soft info' - it is up to the police what is disclosed and what is not. If the police have a record but deem that it is not relevant, it will not be disclosed.
Even when this other "relevant information" is disclosed, it is only for consideration and not an automatic bar. That said, the recruitment decisions we make often have to be rather conservative.0 -
I spoke with the police today about the warning and they said it would only show up if the employer did a local check as it is not put on the national database.0

I am surprised if a CRB check showed different things on the employers certificate to the employees....
Im in Scotland so we have police enhanced disclosures or protection of vulnerable group disclosures. The certificates sent to employer/potential employee are identical.Light Bulb Moment - 11th Nov 2004 - Debt Free Day - 25th Mar 2011 :j0
