Play.com - buying PC keyboard

I bought a PC keyboard from play.com on 13th April this year.
I like the keyboard & everything is fine. The only thing is, lately, the 'N' key has started to wear quite bad & it's obviously not going to get any better.
I know it's nothing major, but it just irritates me. Moreso that it's a 4 month old keyboard & one of the letters has halfway worn off. Wasn't a cheapy keyboard either. Was a decent Logitech one.
Do i have any rights here?

Can we play guess your password?
is it nnnnnnnn ?
I have never had a keyboard lettering wear away, Even after many years of daily use.
Does seem like yours is a bit rubbish, Either a dodgy one off or them cutting costs too far.
So many things these days are being ruined by cutting costs making the products useless.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
The letters on my old keyboard wore away. Was just a Packard Bell one & certain keys which i guess got used the most - N, M were totally gone. Others were faded.forgotmyname wrote: »Can we play guess your password?

But this was after years & years of use. Think i had it about 10 years in the end.

Thanks.
I tried having a look last night, but i'd had a few too many to drink & couldn't find the link.
Got it now though & sent off my query. I don't have the packaging, so hopefully i can still get it sorted. Ideally i'd just need the replacement key sent out.0 -
nah it will be a new keyboard, Do they still stock the same one? Or have they stopped selling them?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0

I am having the same argument with Play.com.
After ignored emails I finally spoke to them on the phone today. After a lengthy argument they are letting me return my item directly to them but wont refund until they have tested it to see if it is really faulty (fair enough I guess).
I had to argue that their terms and conditions are NOT above the law! They seem to think they are
We shall see what happens.2012 wins approx £11,000 including 5k to spend on a holiday :j0
