Hi I need to lose some weight, but dont want to pay the weekly cost of meetings at weight watchers.
Ive managed to get my hands on the books with the info in on points etc. But it doesnt say how many points I should have a day. I think it might be 29 a day and 48 extra a week.
Is there anyone who knows how to work out how many points I should be eating?
As no one knows who I am I dont mind admitting I weight 11,13 aged 40 and lead a very unactive life:eek: ( there is the reason Im overweight).
Thanks to anyone who can help.

someone would also need to know your height in order to work it out.
have you looked at doing it online? i do it online and it costs me £10 a month which i think is worth it for having all the info i need.0 -
it's 49 weekly points and 29 daily is the minimum but sounds right, (yes i am a WW)
if you search on facebook there are a few nice people running groups on there who could help
try looking for Michaela's Weight Watcher Meetings, she's a WW leader and is happy to answer questions

I've got the new points calculator somewhere. Give me a half hour or so and will try and help you out.0

If you wanted too, you could join WW online for £30ish for three months and if you go through Quidco, you get £30 back. :money:
I'm a similar starting weight and age to you, and started on 29 points a day, and 49 through the week.:beer:0 -

That is what I did.
Also try out https://www.weightwatchers.co.uk and click message boards, and visit one of them, they can help you every step of the way.....
I am in the process of doing a web page listing pp for common things, mainly for myself to look on and for a few friends. No where near finished yet, taking my time with it..
I can recommend Warburton square wraps at 4pp each, and you can make pizza's and all sorts using them... hmmmm
Am loving the new pp plan, the weeklies are so handy..0 -

Wander into a WW meeting and go to the table where they flog their wares and buy one of their points calculators. Or try ebay, lol
It will give you the points applicable to your weight and you can calculate the point value of non WW food.2014 Target;
