Anyone know when Ryan air put there may 2012 flights up? Also do they normally have a opening offer?
Thanks in advance

Put yourself on their e-mail list and you will get notifications of offers etc.0

I wouldn't book too far in advance, a few months in advance is normally the best time to get good prices. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

Not always the case. unfortunately, there is no set time when the flights will be best price. If you are flexible on your dates, and the flight operates daily, then you can afford to be a bit choosy, and maybe wait a little to monitor the price patterns. However if you have to go on specific dates to tie in with accommodation availability, or any other reason why you need to travel on certain dates, i would book as soon as the flights come out - provided you are happy with the price.
General rule of thumb with Low Cost Airlines is that the more seats that are booked, the higher the price. However, there are always exceptions and yes, a seat sale may come along and offer lower prices, but then again a seat sale may not come along, and you end up paying a whole lot more.
However as mentioned above, get yourself on the airlines mailing list, and you should get warning when flights are due to come on sale.

Well in the 3 years I've been using Ryanair I've never paid more than £30 return, and I always book my flights about 2 months in advance. I can only speak from experience and obviously don't know all the ins and outs. Infact I booked Easyjet tickets last week 5 days in advance and was £55 return, which is decent I think.
I would say the OP should take your advice though, you seem more knowledgeable than meThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -

Ryanair have cleverly optimised (often means 'reduced') numbers of flights to destinations that are mature routes for them so that they can expect consistently very high load factors and thus avoid giving away too many 'promotional' seats.
On those routes which are still being developed then perhaps the old ideas of promotion spotting a couple of months in advance might still apply. May may not be peak (again depends on destination). However if it is somewhere like Malaga or Palma or Canaries then I might imagine that booking as early as possible would be the best strategy.0 -
I think GillyX is correct. Ryanair does not come out with its cheapest fares straightaway. Unless you are restricted to a particularly popular time like the half-term holidays it's often better to wait until the promotional fares are released a few months in advance.0

Ryan air as well as jet2 are ripppp offff merchants...charge you to use the toilets...not literally but they charge you for every little additional thing...this is how they make their money!!0

OP you can see what Easyjet want for the same route and you can see what Ryanair might want in March 2012 ... it's a judgement call based mostly on whether you feel lucky or prefer to feel content that you have your flights booked i.e. one less thing to worry about.
If you need to be there on those set dates then I wouldn't mess about too much - what will you save at best? I can't imagine many tickets to Fuerteventura being offered at less than fifty quid each way, can you? Even if you paid £25 more by booking as soon as you can, then what's the saving there? The price of a modest dinner for two? I am a Ryanair regular and whilst a few years ago I might have waited a bit after the first release of tickets, I rarely see the sense of doing so thesedays, especially if you need to fly on set dates. In your shoes I might be sorely tempted to book Easyjet now. Don't they allow more free cabin baggage than Ryanair (or is that no longer true?).
It's a bit like the decision on when you should buy your Euros to spend on the same trip ... unless you are a currency speculator, the most sensible and risk free time to buy the Euros you need is at the time you book the holiday and commit yourself to a liability of needing to spend a budgeted amount in Euros.0 -

You're doing it all wrong my friend, I've never paid more that the headline figure or paid to p*ss anywhere one a Ryanair flight.0
