This morning got Co-Op catalina for £1 off £10 spend.
> Noticed other customers getting them and also another post reported here. <
Unlike most stores, Co-Op's catalinas can be used against electric and gas topups, mobile topups, even payment of court fines! They also work with other coupons and you collect co-op member points also.
Not sure of exact terms but seemed to be a minimum spend of a few quid to qualify. SPLIT YOUR SHOPPING! It requires you to be a bit cunning, but here's how to do it...
Put all the non-topup (scannable) items through first and hand over your co-op members card, SA will think that's end of transaction, scan member card and press a button on till - and at this point a catalina will or won't be spat out there and then before they even ask you for payment.
No catalina? You can "remember" that you needed to do your topups and continue with same transaction then pay.
Got catalina? Complete this transaction and pay. Ask to start another transaction and use your catalina immediately, do your topups now (as they usually come to £10+) so will qualify. Use co-op member card again and it's been known you may even get another catalina but think sometimes that's a till glitch. I have only ever been asked to re-queue once after doing this, most SA will allow you to do another transaction immediately after. There is no time delay before the catalina becomes effective.
£10 of <utility> for £9 is a good deal and worth doing at Mr C rather than getting nothing but a few CC points from Mr T :j0 -
As far as I can tell the jamie oliver coupon and airwick ones have finished.0

I hope they realise that if they are printing 10 off to post out to a buyer and they only sell for 99p they aren't making much by the time they factor ink and paper in to it.0 -
