I agree that spending more for one is ridiculous, however my point was that not everyone wants/can use two. Wouldnt it be better if rather than buying two the shopper had an option to take the second (at the reduced price) at a later date. I think one supermarket did trial a scheme like this a while ago, maybe it was too difficult to administer? Great if you have a friend or neighbour to give stuff to, even better if you can redistribute it to a worthy cause.

of course it was but the point wasnt about buying 2 it was that someone in tesco seems to have their calculations a bit off. I think there was a scheme that did buy one get on half price somewhere if I remember.

Dont forget to take advantage of asda price guarantee when you can,
I'm doing a shop later of stuff that is the same price or cheaper in tesco than asda.
I will use a £1 walls voucher to get Viennetta so after I get my APG voucher I will have been paid 10p to buy a block of Viennetta:)
