Also just wanted to say thank you to everyone who updates this board. Over the last week I have saved a bit of money which I would not have done without this forum at a time when saving money is really important to our family. Thank you

''Much better to be careful, stay under the radar, and make several visits a week getting, if your lucky, a few at a time.''
As I understand it CW even going in a few times a week and using a few at a time means eg 10 coupons a week and over a month that would be 40 anyway which people are doing all at once but surely amounts to the same thing???
Or did you mean go in a few times a week with varied coupons each time so you are only getting a few different items with the coupon discount...
As if someone goes in a few times a week with eg a few of the the Campbells or Cereal vouchers after a few weeks while the coupon is still valid they still would have collected a fair few & T might obviously still be none too pleased!
I have been reading EVERYWHERE today that LOADS of people are having ALL their internet voucher refused at T's even the Unilever ones and especially the Campbell ones ... All it takes is a memo & staff meeting and they will be refused across the board ... One customer said she even had a phone call from someone at T telling her they would not accept internet coupons any more due to misuse!!!
( I think she complained they would not accept her Unilever one )
So PLEASE lets be diligent / UNGREEDY as it looks like the greedy few really ARE spoiling it for the masses which is what we were saying all along when we used to say to the greed mongers ''you are spoiling it for others / EVERYONE!!!'' ( to no avail of course! )
I won't be surprised if this is the beginning of the end of internet coupons at T's AND other supermarkets all because of a horrible few and I don't apologise for saying they are horrible as it is SO unfair that simple , everyday people who just want to save a pound on their tea CAN'T EVEN DO SO ANYMORE!!!
I hope its not on its way out but I would not be surprised if it was as despite people warning the stock pilers what would happen no one listened and T are not a charity or MUGS lol0 -
I really feel that some people want to ''scr*w the system'' as they put it but HOW LONG do they think the Supermarkets will bend over and take it - Am sure they do NOT want to be scr*wed by the 'customers' and I think they have been more than tolerant already!!
As they are saying now , they do not HAVE to take internet coupons , it wasn't our right but our priveledge which was totally misused & I agree about the leeching Ebayers wanting an easy buck totally spoiling it for others as well...
I feel sad and angry that the simple families who just NEED to save a few bob on their weekly shopping are the ones who are going to miss out , alot of people can't AFFORD to 'stock pile' hundreds of cans of coke , however cheap as they just live from week to week trying to save money on their weekly grocery shopping , and the coupons HELPED them xx
Me included , I'd rather have one or two free / or CHEAP boxes of cereal / cans of soup a month than NONE AT ALL....0 -
I know I blow up and have a rant from time to time but of course on here I read the posts about the 100's of jellies and custards , 40+ cereals etc
I posted the Dove voucher deal ( then wished I HADN'T!! ) and guess how many I got in all? ... two , paid 49p each @ Superdrug and was HAPPY with that
See I can STOP at one or two.... can you?????????
I agree and know exactly how you feel.
It was me that found the Campbells "free can" coupon in the first place and posted it on this thread - I was delighted when I found it as it meant I could contribute something to this thread which has been of great use to me and also to those wonderful people on here that have been so kind to pass on their finds ... Then I see over the past week the coupon has been posted everywhere with people taking reckless advantage. People are not even having the decency to sign up with Campbells to get the coupon - they are just passing it around between themselves in multiples.
I feel quite guilty I have to admit - I know Campbells should have put better practice in place but I can't help feeling that way! Come the end of the next period when they collate the coupons received back from retailers, they will have sent out maybe a few thousand e-mails attaching the coupon, yet have millions of coupons returned to them for redemption!
And (just for pettiness sake!) these other people passing it around are the ones that are getting all the "thanks" clicks!0 -

This just happened to me, not half an hour ago. Proper trouted for the first time! Was on ss tills, used the This Water coupons no probs tried the Bic Razor one, it wanted store approval, so the girl took it and then wandered off and a guy came back and was like it's company policy NOT to take them. I was like no I dont thnink so (lol) then had my transaction cancelled, the girl got my other coupons out the machine and I was taken to customer service desk where I was told again no they dont take them :mad: I did get my This Water ones as they scanned ok, but not the Bic one.
So anyways I just got home and phoned customer service and spoke to a lovely welsh man! He went through his computer and found the bit about internet vouchers and yes they do accept them on 2 conditions, 1 they are in date and 2 you've bought the product. Both of which mine were and I had. He put 100 points on my clubcard as the Bic one was worth £1 and told me if I had any problems again to get the customer service desk to phone them directly. He also said that a note had been taken and would be passed onto my store of the policy.
Not a pleasent experience, especially with an 18 month old in the trolley who was also getting !!!!ed off! Ah well, will look forward to my next visit!...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

 I thought a condition of the vouchers is that they should not be sold on?
I hope she runs out of her yellow printer ink very soon and can't print any more!0 -
OMG I can't believe people would do this!:mad:EDD 17/01/10:j:T0 -
This is just disgusting really. Whilst I agree partially with getting what you can, the idea of clearing the shelf is stupid. Like others have said just use a few each time, and go a number of times.0 -
You can better believe that it will be the greedy ones who complain the most .We all think we are clever getting our shopping down to £1+ from £50+ ,emptying the shelves because its freebie with our handsfull of pdf coupons .Think of the time it takes to check all those coupons ,supervisors checking them, phone calls.I know how I feel when I have a problem customer in front of me .Supermarkets dont need all this. You only have to think back to the dtd fiasco. It will all end in tears.0
