Yes it is. Particularly if you put the coupons through the self-scanning mechanism.

There are commonly 2 transactions with coupons.

    1. One is between the customer and the retailer.

    2. Another between retailer and coupon issuer.

The retailer can accept anything they choose from the customer in return for his (eg.) tin of soup, they could accept a rusty nail, an empty bottle even a voucher for a bar of chocolate. The only time fraud would be involved is if the retailer tried to claim back the money from chocolate bar coupon issuer, and that instance of fraud is between retailer and coupon issuer absolutely nothing to do with the customer.

(all of the self serve tills that I have used require the coupons to be approved by the SA)
  • Price check back from shop at Tesco's yesterday, and they haven't compared the 6 packs of huggies wipes I bought . Email sent to customer services, but at the mom. I've been cheated out of £9.54.

  • i must be doing something wrong with the bic coupon, because when it's printed all there is are the term and conditions and the circle saying hurry offer open, nothing else. :(

    The cream pack

these used to compare back in dtd days but i put in a receipt a couple of weeks ago just on a general shop and loads of items that used to compare dont anymore think they have gotten a bitlike asda and only compare what they feel like. i hope you hear back with good news but i think they may just fob you off as i think there is something in the terms abt not entering into discussion over any items not compared.

Buried somewhere amongst the rules and regs does it say they are for use in Sainsburys only? I am hoping that they are for general usage but Sainsburys have a tendancy to have only their own MOCS

I would be livid as well. Can you take them to CS and change them for the other type of Huggies wipes - or for that matter the 97p ones?

    https://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/Shopping/FindProducts.aspx?Query=huggies%20wipes&SortBy=3

This makes no sense becauce both versions are supposed to be
    £2.54 Tesco and £1 Asda
