  • Regarding mis-use of coupons (paying your bill with coupons that are for items you haven't bought) - this is not only wrong but also fraud. You can be taken to court and recieve a police record and a prison sentence for it.

Hi there, there is also a link on the first page for you to text and it will text you back a code which you can enter online. The last few codes I have entered by text or from bottles have only given me a 50p coupon, dunno if they are giving many free ones out now, anyone know?

They are still giving away free bottles as I won one this very morning and I also got one on Saturday. I only started doing this since end of August but so far I've won 4 free bottles and about 5 x 50p off, so possibly still worth doing it. This is mostly from sending a text. I have used the code from the bottle but once or twice it said that the code had already been used, so I guess that means that someone took the code off the bottle but didn't buy it.

It's just a bit frustrating that I mostly seem to see the lemon ones. The orange ones are also available but I've only seen the berries one (can't remember the flavour) about once or twice and when I have, I didn't have any coupons on me. :(

Yes it is. Particularly if you put the coupons through the self-scanning mechanism.
  • After my problems with sainsburys yesterday I went to the cs desk today but the goodwill gesture had not been left for me. The lady phoned someone and went up to the office but couldn't find anything about it. I had to explain to her what the complaint was again and she did give me a £10 gift card.

    http://www.valassis.co.uk/Page/42/Misredemption#

Its misredemption and not a criminal offence at this time :o
Although we all know that its wrong and all do it by buying products that are on offer and using coupons on them. It clearly states that the coupon should not be used in conjunction with any other offer. If you dont abide by whats on the coupon ie product and terms and conditions then its misredemption as it makes the coupon void.
If it's cheap I Like it. If its Free I love it!

Sorry this is O/T I know we are trying to keep the chat down to a minimum.

I got my free soup in Sainsburys and I also bought a pack of 2 of the part baked baguettes, the value ones are only 39p and they are vaccum packed so they have a good use by date. The part bakes dont take long to do in the oven. Very nice to have on blustery autumn days soup on the stove and the smell of baking bread.

(Put philadelphia on the bread bought with print off MOCs, cheaper than butter!)

Also stops people picking at bits from the fridge and leaving nothing to cook at dinner time :T
