yep not in our local M
have them in T but seem limited in their availability, used to use then a lot to make meals but had not for a while , seems Tomato, and mushroom were in all T Vegtable and Chicken also in another I found celery too but only in 1

Maybe the voucher is campbell way of increaing their volumes to get themselves back into the stores

Campbell Soup (uk) was bought over and eventually rebranded with the Batchelor name (exact same product) with an agreement that Campbell (u.s) would stay out of the british market for an agreed term - that has now passed so the Campbell Soup Co (u.s) is now allowed to re-introduce their U.S product (and more importantly their Iconic branding) back into the U.K.

We are not getting the full range (yet) although all options are left open (least thats what they've told me)

So as it stands the Batchelor brand here in the uk is what we used to call Campbells made to a British recipe and the new Campbells tins are made to the U.S recipe.

    Batchelors have 12 versions
    Campbell have 7 versions

The British versions may contain MSG
The U.S version has dropped MSG

Other than that both products are virtually identical with only the labels differing and for some reason both versions are still not doing Scotch Broth. :(

I am guessing to relaunch the Brand in the uk (packet soups were Jan, condensed were launched Aug 1st) that a deal was done with both Mr S and Mr T if they dropped Batchelors as it looks like they are clearing them out in favour of the New Campbells brand but it remains to be seen.

This is just my opinion on things (unless someone more informed can enlighten me) as its something I've followed since Premier Foods bought Campbell Soup UK in 2006.

Have yet to try a direct comparison test on both products but would be keen to know if anyone can spot much difference, we use the soup in a lot of recipes and it has always been fantastic (whatever its been called) but I for one have missed the little bit of Andy Warhol in the larder. :D

Maybe someone knows why the Scotch Broth version was dropped, it can be bought from Canada but is pricey, our family in the states even find it hard to pick up for us.

Apparently it dissapeared around the time of the BSE scare, if that helps?

    I've been Money Tipped!
Morning all and another new week for couponing and lots of posts to catch up on and thank. lol

Put my MIL's "hamper" together - free bleach products, few free Comforts, packs CIF wipes 2p and floor cleaner 14p, Surf 18 wash £1, Flora oil 50p, Flora buttery's free, Dove shampoo and coditioner 16p each, PG Tips 34p, and of course some Magnums 22p. Added a few jars of coffee I got cheap and a couple of bars of Lidl's 19p chocolate. Nice little hamper and cost well under a fiver. :money:
I know it will be appreciated and can't wait to see her face. She was over the moon with the free almonds and we often drop off cheap stuff we get from Sainsburys (fruit and veg whoopsies etc.). Should keep her going for a while and save her some pennies.

I printed off lots of Campbells soups coupons (3 on page) for MIL's over 60's group. Thanks for the updates (issues), I'll try one before passing them on (if they scan). Try Sainsburys later (S/S tills).

be carefull using your campbells coupons, i had to go to cs in tesco who informed me they no longer accept internet coupons due to misuse (dunno if she was just saying this,), this wat my local store

This is something that everyone needs to watch.

Mis-use of a coupon is an absolute no-no.

There is a problem with the Campbells coupon at the moment in that I know a number of coupon users are trying to use them in Asda. Asda do not sell Campbells soup, so this put coupon use in their store in serious jeapordy as the store will not get there money back from the manufacturer.

So be very careful with your coupon usage, ensure you buy the correct product, so that the store get there money back.

If your store stops taking coupons due to misuse, it could spread to other stores in that chain of supermarkets.

If internet coupon stop being accepted by supermarkets we will all lose a great deal of money.

So remember when using coupons peeps, short term gain could lead to long term loss for all coupon users.

    Take care everyone:)
