Hiya, I'm new here :-)
This seemed like a great thread to post in for my first post so here goes -
I helped my son sort out his old books to make way for the pile he got from Santa, so I now have two boxes full to get rid of. I'm going to list a few of the newer ones on amazon as soon as I finish reading this board, the rest I'll give away via freecycle.

Hi everyone
Today I went to several charity shops looking for stuff for my new MSE 2nd income business. Spent £3.
Banked survey, Ebay and spare change money = £30, did an online survey 50p earned umm, and that's about it.....
Oh and spent £2 on Sausage and chips for lunch as a treat as car played up something rotten and the 20 minute trip home took an hour and half gRRRrrr!Current debt and mortgage: £25, 820.35 Debt/Mortgage at start: £92,598 (27/09/2010)

I;ve just recieved my BT bill, and I'm £8 in credit

This is because I don't use BT for my calls any more (I get free landline calls with my broadband and use my free minutes on my mobile for ringing other mobiles). But I had owed BT money for calls made before I became wise! Now all I pay to BT is £11 a month line rental. So I've reduced my Direct Debit from £25 to £10. Will need to remember to increase it again in 8 months time though to £11. But anyway I'm happy since it's a saving of £15 a month, and a debt (although I never counted it as a debt really) repaid.Amazon sellers club - member number 63.

Hi Andy, funny about your mum and the gloves. I got two pairs for Christmas as well - but I was pleased with both of them! (one warm pair and one fingerless so ideal for when I'm working in my unheated house). Hope your mum likes the Boots stuff - I'm sure she will.
Today my OH came back from his new sandwich round job with lots of unsold sandwiches and cakes, a whole loaf of bread and six cans of baked beans. The job only pays £5/hour but we get loads of free food on top.
Tomorrow I have to go to a funeral, a sad occasion but it means I will drive past a LIDL, so will pop in and stock up on cheap food and MSE wine and nibbles for a party tomorrow night.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -

Well it was ok because mine were "practical" ones that she can wear when walking the dog, my sister's were more "dressy" if you see what I mean. I would suggest she wears them when doing the housework to save on heating costs, but I don't think that would go down too well! She's not really into moneysaving to be honest - I've only just taught her to turn the heating off if the house is too warm instead of opening the window!Amazon sellers club - member number 63.

:heartpuls CG :heartpulsEver wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.0
