Survey for Lightspeed (didn't qualify for 2 Ciao surveys - really annoying the way you have to answer lots of questions before they tell you this  ) - a productive way of spending my lunch break

Cancelled a credit card account and did a balance transfer at the same time (obviously on a different card but with the same bank). I think I got offered quite a good deal because I insisted on cancelling the first account.

Heading for the 4th NSD of the week (year). Need bread for tomorrow's lunch but think I have some "bake at home" rolls so will cook those tonight. Just so long as I don't eat them as soon as they come out of the oven.....

I need to buy my mum a birthday present for next week. No idea what to get - but she works in a kitchen for a living and uses lots of handcream, so was thinking of somthing along those lines, if I can get somthing in the Boots sale which looks expensive but is cheap! If any ladies have any suggestions, they would be more than welcome!!!

Andy, try the above link, the Gardeners Cream is fabulous for hard living hands, free delivery and I'm sure she'll really like it.

    HI Andy

If you can't find any handcream what about gloves? My OH got me some for Christmas and I was really pleased - black thinsulate ones, both elegant and warm! cost him £1.99 in the market and I was really chuffed as my previous gloves were getting holes.

Thanks, I got her gloves for Christmas though...and so did my sister (why did mum "hint" to us both to buy the same thing???) So I don't think she needs more gloves!!

My local Boots had stacks of Christmas stock half price so I think I'll pop down at the weekend and see if they have the set that HazelEyes linked to..I think she'd like somthing like that.

Now - where sells the cheapest Birthday cards that don't look like they're printed on recycled loo roll? :D

Today I went to tesco for small bit of shopping £3.67 an gave a lift to a neighbour who insisted on paying me £10 for the lift! (26 mile round trip) so I spent a minus amount!

Woohoo I am 25p richer thanks to hamish222 clicking my referral link for Cashbag which I posted on 1/1/07. I also have the joy of waiting for hamish222 to request his first payment and then I will receive a further £2.25. Thanks again hamish222.

So the MSE thing I decided to do today is post my referral link for Myshoppingrewards on the referral board. Fingers crossed someone will click on it and join the site thus earning me a few extra pennies or should I say pounds.

Well, my sister just phoned. She was in PC World with her boyfriend trying to buy a new TV, and the salesman advised her that it was £100 cheaper if ordered online. So he told her to ring someone who could order it online for collection. She rang me and I ordered it for her. I went through Quidco which apparantly pay 3% (the TV was £700 so that's £21). Hope it tracks ok...

Hi all, Today, I went to my local charity shop and bought some bath oil and two lots of hand cream at 50p each. Now is a good time to do this as lots of people who don't use them get things like these for Christmas. (Make sure they've not been used, though.)
