I've just put ten portions of leek and potato soup into the freezer. I made it with a 79p bag of leeks (50% free) and some potatoes left over from Christmas that were starting to look a bit sad. We had some last night when we came back from the quiz night, (where I won the prize kitty of £10.50) and it was deelish!!!
Made it in the slow cooker so very OS!:hello:  please play nicely children !0 -
Hello
Today I have brought my lunch in to work and drove carefully to work to get a good MPG.
Tonight I will make a batch lot of Soup tonight for lunches next week. Leek and Potato I think!
I have also restarted my spending diary (its been on holiday over Christmas!)
Have a nice day!

hey all,
Have taken some leftover turkey out the freezer for dinner!
Also, discovered that my 5yo son has head lice - rather than heading to the chemist, I phoned the Dr for a prescription! Probably saving a fortune on the shop brand of lotion!
Have also gathered 3 more things for eBay!

Spent £1.39 posting an ebay parcel, but got £10 in my paypal account from the sale so not really a spend. However, I've decided to count any cash I part with as spending so I'm including it.
Just made £5 selling a book to a friend of a friend. Was going to put it on Amazon but this way it's cash in my pocket and no need to worry about their fees and postage costs.
I need to buy my mum a birthday present for next week. No idea what to get - but she works in a kitchen for a living and uses lots of handcream, so was thinking of somthing along those lines, if I can get somthing in the Boots sale which looks expensive but is cheap! If any ladies have any suggestions, they would be more than welcome!!!Amazon sellers club - member number 63.

Karmacat, check out doing them separately via quidco, 2 lots of cash back more than makes up for slightly higher costs.
OK, struggling for things to do, having a no spend day, does that count
.
Eaten home made lunch but made it last night so don't suppose that counts.
Will go through the letter G on quidco and see what's available. Oh, and need 2 Holiday Inn Express bookings for work so 3000 Pigsback points!! Yeah, that'll do nicely!A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
