hi all, my NSD turned into a spend day:(

needed to put petrol in car - 15.00
parking to go into town for post office and bank - 50p

    not too bad......but.....

next week is going to be horrendous:

mot, service, 2 new tyres, 2 things need to be fixed on car over and above service, i think i am looking at about 600 quid:eek: i know i am getting the best prices possible though which is some comfort:)

however, i have got the money (well most off it) set aside to cover it so that wont hit me too hard i hope. and providing nothing goes wrong on the car for the next 12 months (touch wood) i will have saved up enough to cover it all again next year!!!

tomorrow should def be a NSD:D

As I said in the OD thread jamie, really sorry to read about the £600 but it's some comfort that you have the money set aside to pay for it. I hope it comes in less than £600 for you.

    Evening everyone

I have spent 1.75 on tea and biscuits on the train this morning - long journey and was bored. I also had to buy a raffle ticket at meeting for 1.00 but thats it.

Definately trying for a no spender tomorrow.

Really pleased. Another hermit day of locking myself away and working from home. So spent nothing.
OH is on nights tonight, and I have even managed to avoid the temptation of getting a take-away. Dug a home made curry out of the freezer, and cooked some rice to go with it.
    Lovely.
    Good luck tomorrow everyone.
    What's he building in there???
