postingalwaysposting wrote:well i still havent got dressed... oh i love days off... while cleaning... i decided to clean my tropical fish out... so i turned the electric off (for the fish pump etc) forgot the heater (its pluged into my computer extension lead)... took everything out of the tank and then i smelt burning  anyways i turned it off but one of the holders that stick to the side of the tank has melted
so it wont hold the heater... i managed to put the heater back into the tank with just the one holder but i dont think it will last very long
i have searched ebay and the manufacturers of the heater from replacement parts but cant find anything
its about 4 years old anyways but i begrudge buying a new heater just for one clip... still looking... anyways i am determind to make this a non spend day
Oh PAP that's just bad luck, isn't it? Hope you find a cheap one or another way of holding it in place.
On the bright side....no fish was grilled!

Ended up not being a good spend day today, £15.13 at Trago Mills (but picked up lots of bits that will be useful), £25 at Mr Ts (why is fresh fruit and veg so expensive!!!!) and then £45 on petrol - but the tank is now full and hopefully wont need to fill up again for a month.
Will not be going out tomorrow, def need a few more no spend days after today!!!!0
