Cracked back on iphone 4 where to get repair

ok silly me has managed to crack the back of my new iphone 4 that i have had 2 days. it slid off my knee and its cracked on the back and unfortunatley havent had chance to set up the insurance on it yet.

Where would be best to get the back repaired/replaced? anyone else had this happen?

Make an appointment at you local Apple store and pray to god they dont charge you...obviously they charge for accidental damage (as per their t&c's) BUT many people have been known to get their handsets repaired/replaced free of charge. Good luck!

I've not used them so can't comment on the service but it will at least give you an idea of price.

Take it to an Apple store. I wouldn't give it to anyone else in fear of them voiding a warranty on a 2 day old £500 piece of tech equipment.

Take it back to apple store, it was like that when you opened the box wasnt it?

Apple stores are more likely to replace for free to people who they think are genuine and honest (and pleasant).
